Shipping Policy
Payment
We accept payments via PayPal and direct checkout through WooCommerce Payments.
For all international packages, you are responsible for your country’s duties, taxes, and/or other importing fees. Each country has different procedures and fees for importing so please do proper research prior to your purchase.
Process
Once payment received, please allow 1-3 days for funds to be cleared and 1-2 business days processing time for general items and 3-7 business days for made to order items (please refer to detailed timelines in this policy). As soon as the item is ready, we will ship the package per your chosen shipping method and address. Please see important details in the following “Shipping” section.
Shipping
SHIPPING COST
We use Sendle as our preferred shipping partner as they deliver at low cost especially within Australia. We also use Australia Post regularly. All prices quoted here are Sendle shipping rates. You can contact me if you require other means of shipping.
Shipping within Australia: up to 500g satchel, $7.05 same city and $8.65 interstates, for the first item purchased. An extra handling fee of $0.50 is charged for each item after.
Note: If you order threads in longer lengths than listed and do not require cutting, and if they fit in the original package, they will be count as one item. Same apply to small parts which extra supplies fit in one package. If your overall package size exceeds 500g shipping costs increase.
Shipping International (Outside of Australia): $15.15 and up, for the first item purchased. An extra handling fee of $0.50 is charged for each item after. Price varies depending on region and parcel size. You can find the charges in your region from shipping methods loaded on our website.
All orders over AUD50 will automatically qualify for free shipping. Simply select this option at checkout.
You are responsible for all duties/taxes received from your country.
Prices are subject to change without notice as we follow the current shipping prices provided by our shipping companies.
TRACKING NUMBER
We will provide tracking number for all our packages as soon as they are ready to ship.
PHONE NUMBER
ALL our domestic & international packages require adult signature in order for package to be released, and a phone number in case they need to reach you regarding your package. We will NOT ship out the package until we receive the phone number.
SHIPPING ADDRESS
Change of address PLEASE NOTE:
If you request your package delivered to an alternate address to the one you have placed on file with us, the following two rules apply:
1. We will not be held responsible if the package is mistakenly shipped to the address on file.
2. The package will be unable to insure.
Please update your shipping address prior to checkout, or leave message at checkout with a shipping address which the parcel can be delivered to you.
ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIME
Estimated shipping time was provided to us by the shipping companies we use, which is also available on their websites. Unfortunately, there are times when parcels are delayed for unforeseeable events. Please kindly understand that this is completely out of our control. By confirming your purchase, you agree that we take no responsibility in any delays in actual shipping time.
For all items crafted by hand from date of order, please do plan ahead if you need your special item to be available at a particular time. Christmas holiday period, for example, is the busiest time of the year. It may take up to 4 weeks to fulfil a simple design item, and longer for a more complicated design, let alone longer transit period during peak time shipping.
International orders
Although most items pass through customs with the invoice provided with each shipment, custom offices do reserve the right to ask for the purchaser to provide information in addition to seller provided information. It is the buyer’s responsibility to fulfil your own country’s custom requests and also to pay customs, duties, any additional country specific mail fees etc. In the event that the custom office should decide that its fees/document requests have not been complied with in a reasonable amount of time, the item will usually be sent back to us and costs may incur to us. In that event, once the item is received, we will issue a refund up to 30% of purchase price.
